5 posts in one night

I know it has been a while. Life has been crazy and I hate waiting for the photos to up load. There is a post for everyone, Chris and I share.

Jed

Jed celebrated his first birthday last Friday. Chris and I were running the Ragnar. So we celebrated on sat night with Cake. Jed was not a huge fan. Chris tried to help the cake eating along and it did not work it only made him more made. The following day he had a high high temp and we took him to Urgent care. What a waist. As I found out from some very nice nurses at the kids Swine flu study, all urgent care Dr's will tell you is that it is a virus, take Tylenol, and drink lots of fluids. This was Sunday, Wednesday Chris took Jed to their regular Dr. Come to find out Jed is having trouble breathing. I never would have guessed this. He is doing much better, and eating much more and it is staying down!!!! This is a huge step for Jed.
He has been a great joy to our family for the last year. He has a great smile. When he sees you he runs as fast as he can to you and then buries his head in your body. I love that! Thanks for a great year Jed we Love you!!!
Here is the only happy photo from the party.

He did not like the cake one bit. He would have rather been in the shower, where he was shortly after this photo.
Here he is trying to be big. He is now climbing on the kids little table, the toy boxes. The only problem is he does not know how to get down.

His favorite thing in the world. Kind of Ironic

I wish I would have gotten a little closer on this one. He looks so cute!

Jeffrey

Jeffrey was telling us today during the primary program that he was 3. He really really wanted to be up on the stand sitting by William (he always call’s him this) and singing with him. Jeffrey is in the midst of potty training. He is a struggle, but he also takes off his diaper so 2 I would rather deal with 1 accident a day rather than find random diapers around the house.
He loves playing with Jed and Gabriella (the little girl I now tend). He tries to be so nice but it often does not seem that way. It seems soft is not fully in his vocabulary yet. He is a great kid and can always make us laugh.
They are trying to swing together. Hey there having fun that's what counts right?
He was trying to balance and was focusing so hard. It was so cute.
The object was to hold the penny in the spoon and carefully walk with it to your cup and dump it out. Jeffrey said forget this I'm holding it in my spoon.

He still wants daddy to throw him up! He forgets that he is a big boy!

Annmarie

I will type more next week after her 4th birthday on wed. She is so excited. She is in a dance class now and loves it. She is not too bad. But I think she got most of her dance ability form her mom and not her dad’s side. I can’t believe she is almost 4. Where does the time go.
She and Jeffrey are trying to swing together. It was so funny. They would kick each other every time.
She was actually doing it herself. In our family this is a big accomplishment.

Will

Will turned 5 a few weeks back. He had a small party that had a poorly run game by yours truly. I think I am the worst party person ever. We are going to go back to parties at parks that way I don’t have to worry about planning ideas. He was so excited to turn 5, it seems that the world is all so different now that he is 5. He is a great big brother. He is becoming more and more helpful. He is starting chores, cleaning off the table after dinner, cleaning up the front room and his room. I’m trying to make him more responsible for his own things. He seems to love this new responsibility. He still loves going to school. Lets hope this stays for a long while.
I think he is helping Annmarie up the slide.
Getting his birthday spankings

Blowing out the candles

My poor attempt at a game.

Chris and Karen

On October 9th and 10th, Chris and I joined with the Crazy Asphalt Haulers to run the Las Vegas Ragnar. We had a wonderful time. We met great people. I was amazed that I could do this. Other than my marriage and the kids this is one of the best experiences that I have ever had in my life. I’m looking towards next year and am planning on doing 3. The LA on in May the UT one in June (looking for some runners! Any takers?), and then Vegas again in October. Maybe I’ll throw in the Phoenix race but who knows. Chris is going to do all these (including the Phoenix one) plus he hopes Hood to Coast. If no to that one then the WA race again. So it seems we have become a psycho running family. Hopefully this will transfer down to the kids and they will see that we are doing this for fun, and to get exercise.
Chris on his first run. Our teammate got this photo. I love it.
It was hot!

The end of my first run. I picked this photo because the road curves down to the left. You cann't see the road because it was just a little bit steep.
After I finished my last run. Marking my last X

At the Finish Line

Our team. They were so awesome.
