Kids say . . . or do

OK so Sunday morning we were all laying, OK I was the only one still under the covers, on our bed. Chris was playing and tickling all of us. at one point he said "Poor mommy", then Will unaided said "poor poor mommy." it was so funny. where did he hear that?

In the car the other day I said "we are going to Matthew's house." Will then pipes up from the back and says "Whatever mom" Is this way early to be saying this?

Annmarie is our little mimic. When I say William. in my stern voice she always says William Patrick Scott. It is like she knows he is getting in trouble and wants to make sure he knows it.

Last week the kids went swimming for the first time this season. Needless to say Annmarie is still fearless in the water and jumped in without waiting for Chris to catch her. Oh how They need real swim lessons. Jeffrey would not stay in his little float thing he kept diving out. It looks like he will be just like Annmarie.

Decision time

So the posts have been a little absent lately because we have been working on what we will be doing with the rest of our lives. Chris got accepted to University of Wyoming's Law school.
So right now we are busy deciding if this is the best choice or if staying in Vegas is what we should be doing. Some times I like making the little not as important decisions rather than the big/move change the rest of your life decisions. So hopefully before August we will decide what we need to do.

Who dressed this boy and other Jeffrey things

So the other day I was rushing to get the kids dressed, out the house and too the Gym. In the mess of it all It seemed I did not get Jeffrey exactly dressed correctly? I did not notice until I picked him up from the gym.
The ladies were bringing him to me and I said did I put Will's pants on you? yep. I put 3T pants on my 13 month old. nice huh. Well They did not fall off him. Not sure if that is good or bad.

Jeffrey has a new favorite hiding/play place. We really need to put a child lock back on this door the other one has it. But he loves being in this place.
This is where my suspicions begin to rise that Jeffrey is hiding where he shouldn't be

Look how happy he is down there. Really is Electrosol really that bad? It is in the little plastic packages. I think he thinks they are candy since the wrappers sound similar.

Why Why Why

This will be another of my random thoughts. sorry for those who have already herd some.

Why will your son whom you are trying to potty train at night wet the bed every night even though you wake him at 11 and 2 to go potty but when you put him back in diapers at night he has been dry every night since?

Why do they write good books like Ella Enchanted, just finished this one and oh I loved it sooooo much I think mostly easy reading, and then make a cute movie with the same title but nothing else the same?

Why do I always feel the need to be eating. No matter what or how much I have eaten I can still add more into my bottomless pit.

Why cannot I not sleep though the night. I expect this when I have a newborn but come one Jeffrey has been sleeping though the night for like 11 months, but the other 2 cannot manage to sleep through the night without a drink?

Why will the pollen not go away!!!!! I hate not being able to breath through my nose for the last 3 weeks plus. Shouldn't the bad stuff be gone by now!!!

Why must I feel compelled to place photos in each blog. I will probably not be doing it this time. Sorry I want to watch NCIS and then get to bed but why do we think no one will like the post without photos?

That's it for today may you all have all your why questions answered. yes some are rhetorical but feel free to answer any if you want I will not be offended

What in the world?

OK so the photos below might be a little . . . on the ewe side. OK so Tuesday night we went to the pinewood derby for our ward. Will was out in the hall and then all the sudden I heard him crying. I went out and he was laying face down on the ground. It did not look as if he had any major damage to anything since he was near nothing. He was really upset. and had a little bit of blood on his teeth. He calmed down but it took longer than usual and kept telling me his teeth hurt. I being the wonderful mother that I am said it will feel better in the morning. Well lets just say that at 11:30 I heard him crying in his room. I went in and his lips looked a little weird. But I couldn't tell if it was weird because I was a little sleepy. It looks much different now. but here are some photos of what he looked like.

Finally!!!!!

As many other people have stated thank goodness for last nights TV. The Office was finally new again!!!! Oh how funny funny funny it was. Sad that not all characters got to put their skills back to use but oh how I loved this episode. It will probably be one of my favorites. Loved Jim's flood. and then how he was going to leave Pam. nice no love there. Also loved at the end how Dwight drove by the old lady at the bus stop. That show gets funnier and Funnier. On another happy note NCIS came back on Tuesday Night. Man I love Mark Harmon and I must say that after watching a lot of old NCIS Episodes I prefer Ziva to Kate.

Oh what have I actually be doing at night when there was no good TV to watch. Hope all your favorite shows are back

New food ideas

Hey I am looking to expand our dinner menu of about 10 things. I am looking for any ideas that are simple, yes I am not a gourment cook. Any and all ideas will be tried. Please help out my poor family by giving them some differnet things to try. thanks

Ode to Nora

Many people have heard me refer to Nora. She is my personal trainer. And has been one of the greatest things for me self image wise. No I have not lost tons and tons of pounds. I guess being pregnant might do that. But I am 12 weeks along and am still in my normal clothes, not even fat jeans yet. And for the first time in my life I have some muscle and a little definition in my arms. Yeah never had that in my life!!! Also I have learned that it is not all about the terrible number it is about how I feel and how my clothes fit.
She has showed me new ways to work out and importantly what I can still do while I am pregnant. She also teaches twice a week. but for the next few months only once, she is taking a break to help her daughter do something at school. How in the world could I be upset because she is being a mom. I am a little bit sad. This is not suppose to be about me, how grateful I have been to have someone show me what I need to do and make me do it.
She has also helped convince me that I need to change what I am eating. This was no easy task and is still in the works. So basically I want to say thanks Nora and you Rock!!! She has her own blog that she puts exercise and other nutrition tips on. Check it out if you get a chance. Also if anyone wants to come to her Thursday 8am class with me let me know. I have guest passes at the gym.
Here is her photo and blog address. and yes she really looks like her photo. I told her she should have been on American Gladiator. She said she was going to try out but after watching the show she was glad she missed it because she doesn't like all the hitting.

Annmarie

OK so if any of you have met Annmarie you know that she is her own person, and very stubborn. we know this is because her parents are a little bit stubborn as well. But what I have discovered about her lately is that she really notices things that you would not think she would notice. On our way to the gym yesterday morning she said to me from the back of the van. Momma (yes this is my favorite thing for her to call me nope!) put your hands on the wheel. I had my left arm on the door and my right hand was at the 6 o'clock position. Since she could not see either hand on the wheel she assumed that I did not have a hand on the wheel. Funny huh. She also is our seat belt Nazi. We love her and are grateful that she is so concerned with our welfare.

I won!!!

Kansas won last night and with that I actually Beat Chris !!!!! I know it was an amazing come from behind Victory. So now is the exciting time of picking what I want. Well I have decided. side note Chris will probably still get his gun since I am that kind of person. So as I have pondered what I really really want it has been an easy decision so here it is. Drum roll please. . . I have chosen my prize to not find out what the sex of our baby due in October is. yep. that is it. Chris will try very hard in the next 6 weeks to get me to change my mind but I really would like to be surprised since I will know what day and time the baby will be born. sounds like a cheesy pick but hey that is what I want.

Pet Peeves

OK as I drove to Arizona today I was reminded of some of my biggest pet peeves. I will only do 2 are will ask that you explain yours as well, if you wish.
First off I cannot stand tardiness. I think I was born with an overly obsessive gene here that requires me to be at least 10 min early to everything. I know people probably hate people who are early. I have learned here to hate the sin not the sinner. I have a friend who shall remain nameless unless she gives herself up who is in constant violation of this pet peeve. I still enjoy her company.
other major pet peeve is people who have cruise control and do not use it on long highways!!!!!! there is no need to speed up to pass me in the passing lane and then slow down to the speed limit once it is over. ARGH!!!!!!! There was a white ford 100 that did this the entire trip. yes from the Damn to Wickenburgh. I lot them there since they do not know the secret passage around all the traffic. HAHAHAHA joke is on them. so yes. moral please please use your cruise control. It will cause mothers driving mini vans to have 1 area of sanity left after driving 300 miles alone.
Love to hear yours no I will not be offended when your pet peeves are things that I do.
