And were off

Guess where we are going. Well today Chris started running in the LA Ragnar race. He is doing so awesome. I wish I could tell you all how hard he has been working to reach this point in exercise/weight loss. He ran his first leg of 4.1 miles at a 7:36 per mile pace. I can't even run 1 mile at that pace let alone for plus 4 miles. Way to go Chris love you !!!
We are driving down tomorrow to pick him up. Then on Monday we are going to

This will be the first time the kids and I have gone. Hope we have fun and that it really is the happiest place on the earth.

a little political. . . Sorry

OK so this will not be a typical post, I try to stay away from politics but I just cannot ignore this. Please don't read if think you will be offended. I just have to vent and let it all out.
As most of you know Miss USA was on Sunday. Did I watch of course not, I think its a joke. But I must say yeah for Miss California Carrie Prejean, boo to Miss California organizers, Perez Hilton, and Miss USA Organizers. here is an article about what happened in case you don't know. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,517228,00.html
I am sure that nothing will become of this other than people who want to win must tell people what they want to hear than what they actually believe in. . . wait this already happens with most politicians. I guess what I really a happy about is that Carrie that she had enough courage to stand up for what she believes in. IN the article above she knew when she answered the question she knew she lost. To me it is refreshing that there are others out there who are willing to stand up for their beliefs regardless of the outcome. May the others who have blasted her for giving her opinion get a taste of their own medicine, it probably wont happen but I can hope. Sorry for the ranting but I needed to write my thoughts and express my support for her.
on another note we are taking the kids somewhere special on Monday. its a surprise we are so excited!!!!!

Easter Weekend

What a weekend we just had. Grandma Carmen and Angie came up for a visit. The kids always love seeing family. Saturday morning there was an Easter Egg hunt that the kids went to. I had my camera, but forgot to take photos, I was too busy talking with other adults. But our friend Scott got photos maybe I can get some from him. We had a great rest of the day playing and just having fun. Sunday was church with a nice choir performance and great readers (Chris was one). From what I heard the choir sounded great.

We had a great dinner after with friends. Then Grandma took Will and Annmarie home with her. Chris and I have the whole week with just 2 kids. not sure what we will do.
Will, Trying to get him to smile for real is starting to become a real pain

Annmarie and her new hair cut

Jeffrey is now in clothes that Will was wearing last year!!!

It took a ton of shots but I actually got one of Jed smiling (by the way he is now 6 months!!!! I can't believe it)

yep Will actually got a halfway decent photo of me.

Jeffrey did not want to have his photo taken, he just wanted the camera

Like the Easter baskets? hey they were free. . . well left over from another holiday

Too cute!!!

As I was on the computer a few min ago. I heard the following conversation:

Annmarie: "I'm cold"

Will: "you can share my sheets with me. They are so big I can share."

A: "Thanks Will"

it was so cute I had to get a photo, and blog to remember that they can be very kind to each other.

Jeffrey's latest is "Dinesore ate eye." then he grabs his eye. He is getting so big. As he just interrupted my blogging to go in his room to see "B." He said he wants to go nigh nigh. So I was willing (he thinks he is done with naps) then he sees Jed sleeping he looks at me and puts his finger over his lips and starts going shh.

we are in the process of trying to break Jed of his thumb sucking habit. Mostly because we don't want to deal with it when he is Will's age (see photo)
Had to write good things so I don't forget. I also needed a reminder of why I post. I to remember things I will forget in a few min, and to let family and friends see and hear what our kids are up to. I will try to be better. Thanks for the reminder

It's all about . . . Time

Life has been crazy it seems. I have no good reason for being a terrible blogger the past little while. I just have not spent nearly as much time on the computer. Big things that happened in the past month. Jeffrey turned 2. We had a small party at the park. It was great. um . . . we went to AZ for a spring training game. There has not been anything else too exciting but we seem to be so much busier. Will has the next 2 weeks off for spring break. (yes pre-schools do spring break)
Chris's big news is that the first time in 8 years he actually beat me in March Madness. Yes it is not over yet, but I picked Louisville to win it all he Picked Michigan St. I will return better next year and not pick so emotional. Plus Chris started Substitute Teaching. He seems to really enjoy it. He thinks his next career might be a teacher.
Below are photos of life the last month or so.
Jeffrey when you say "smile"
Any guesses as to who Chris said Will looked like?

Jeffrey did great blowing out the candles

Christy got a great photo of Jed and a bunch others

Love the tongue

" Here I are"

Jed's First time on a swing and boy did he love every min!

The photo kind of Explains its self

Jed was crying and Will went over and started singing I'm a child of God. It was so cute

Then Jeffrey though it would be nice to do the same and he started singing "Child God, Child God." So cute

At the cubs Dback spring training game. It turned out to be like 90 out. Way too hot for a bball game and little kids

After the game

Annmarie got "make up" from a friend. Don't think we need to buy any more any time soon
