This massive bull was running and only had a wood fence between us and him. Quite frankly I was a little bit nervous.
We went to the zoo about 2 weeks ago with 2 other women and their kids form our church. We had a great time.
At the end of the Zoo there was the elephant. It sprays you with water I think my kids spent the most time here.
Our Branch had a picnic at the park on Friday night. This is the slide near the area where we ate. You fly down this slide. it even goes faster in the rain. Jed fell off one that was half this size. He came down and just flew off the end. After he did that twice we figured it might be time to go.
Jed flew off the slide to the left of the photo. This really is a really tall slide.
I couldn't hear Jeffrey one afternoon. this is what I found.
Barbies and boots. nice blackmail.
Hopefully we are off to do more "fall" like actives this week/end. I love living somewhere that actually has fall.
We have spent lots of time at parks etc. I think we have spent more time outside in the 4 weeks we have lived here than the 8 years we did in Vegas.

Love the name of the zoo.
That park is awesome! Levi would love a slide like that. It's huge.
I'm glad you're enjoying your new place. It must be a New York thing because I'm ready for fall as well. Too bad it is still in the 80s and 90s here. :)
Is that park somewhere close to where I-80 passes Des Moines? I remember stopping at a park in Iowa once to let the kids run around for a while on one of our trips west from NY. The kids had a blast on this rocket ship like slide and it was super fast. Definitely looks like fun!!
Wow! you must be outside all the time! It felt like you guys were always outside here! How much fun! We took the kids to the park yesterday (it was a spur of the moment stop) Gideon was in his jammies (winter jammies...his choice, not mine) and after 5 minutes of 105 degrees he was BRIGHT RED in the face!
We miss you!
