a quick one

The 4th was fun, we did regular 4th stuff :) swam, BBQ, fireworks, I taught a class and loved it (minus getting my back all messed up). Chris and I celebrated 12 years of marriage on Sunday. I love him and couldn't imagine a better person to be with.

As I was studying Preach my Gospel this morning this scripture struck me so profoundly and made me wonder why I had never thought that way before.

in D&C 130: 22 The ^aFather has a ^bbody of flesh and bones as tangible as man’s; the Son also; but the Holy Ghost has not a body of flesh and bones, but is a personage of ^cSpirit. Were it not so, the Holy Ghost could not ^ddwell in us.

If the Holy Ghost had a body he couldn't be there to comfort us. We couldn't have the spirit when we were really really struggling. I am so thankful that I read this today and that it was exactly what I needed to hear. I needed to know today that Heavenly Father knew I would need help and comfort. So he chose to give us this wonderful gift.

Funny blirps

While riding bikes a few days ago Will fell and the handle bars hit him in the chest. He got up and I thought he said "I broke my arm." I was thinking you didn't even hit your arm. Then he repeated what he said "I broke my heart" how cute is that.

Last night we were at the Graham's and the kids were playing on the tramp. Will told Annmarie to hold still. Then he did a summer salt into her and knocked her over. As she was getting up she was shouting at him " I'm not a bowling pin." oh my where in the world do they come up with these ideas and phrases?

As we were driving home from somewhere Annmarie starts talking in her "road rage" voice. She said "Cars get out of the way so I can go home." She kept repeating it, I was trying to not laugh to loud. I wonder where she gets road rage from already?

Annmarie was have a hard time keeping her emotions under control in the car on the way home from the gym. Matthew said to her, "Annmarie stop crying." Annmarie responded, "Stop Matthew I need to cry." Well as a fellow female I cannot argue with that statement.

Jeffrey has started saying things and it seems that he picked up Amen during church. He started saying it durring the middle of talks, hopefully noone else understood what he was saying. Now he is so excited for prayers since he gets to say amen

Will had asked me for some Strawberries and I said no more food until Dinner. Then he angrly says to me "I want some Freak'n Strawberries." yes he got in trouble, but wow
