photos of our latest adventures

Here are photos of the kids at their favorite park "the airplane water park"
The last time we were at this park Jed climbed up this! He needs to stop growing up.

Jeffrey Loved this!!!

I wish I would have gotten a after photo of him stumbling around. It was so funny and so sad at the same time.

Will showing off his tricks and Annmarie climbing a pole, wish I had that upper body strength!

Here she is attempting the monkey bars.

This is what happens when your kids are smart enough to move a chair over to the freezer and get out what they really want.

At least they shared with

July 24th parade.

Jed and his favorite person Ulu

Will and Annmarie in the parade

Our newest endevor

So yesterday the Will and Annmarie helped me hand grind 7 cups of wheat into flour. It only took 70 min. They kids loved it and were so helpful. We then made some wheat bread. Which tasted alright, not as bad as I initially thought for my first attempt.

Why did we grind wheat and start to make bread you may ask? here is your answer

this goes 2 deep

now where will put guests when we have them over to eat?

not all is wheat but most is.

Here is the finished product. Well half a loaf of 2. Being the genius that I am I forgot that I might need bread sacks, good thing we had big enough containers.

Happy Birthday Chris! and other randomness

Today is Chris's birthday. Most I hope for his birthday that he will get more sleep than he did yesterday. he got to bed at 2:30 then got a call from work at 6:30 asking him to work the day shift. Which he did, this was his first overtime opportunity in months!!! The minor problem was that he got to work his regular shift as well. So it meant he was gone until . . . I think he got home at 2am.

My grandparents come today. Hopefully it will all go well.

The last little while we have been staying close to home here. A few weeks ago we got a years pass to the Children's museum here in town. Nothing close to the wonderful Seattle one, but the kids love it anyway.

This is the hurricane tube. They say the wind gets up to like 80 mph. My kids loved it, Jana's not so much

Yes those are big smiles!!!

We have been back to the "airplane" water park a few times. been to the gym. But for the most part life is somewhat back to normal. Until Will starts school on the 24th!!! I cannot believe that I one of my kids is old enough to start school!!

For YW last week we went out to cheesecake Factory and saw Harry Potter. It was great, Loved the movie. I came home and reread the book. I was glad I read it after and not before.

Will has had some way cute moments. We were driving in the car and Jed was having a rough time and Will started to sing child of God to him. it was sooo cute!!! Jed instantly become happy.

Annmarie is so excited for preschool. I finally understand what people mean when they say their child is 3 going on 30. She is that way. She wants to do everything I do and is always great if I need someone to cuddle with.

Jeffrey he is 2. He started taking off his diapers after he went to the bathroom in them so we began the potty training process. I am the worlds laziest trainer. This has been a bad little while. I wish I had a magic want that would make him instantly trained! but now that we are only buying 1 size diapers, which is sooo nice, I don't want to digress. Arghh!!! I will deal with the accidents because I am so cheap.

Jed is walking while holding on to everything. He will grab onto a chair and then push that around to get where he wants. He holds onto walls and walks and my favorite is when he grabs my pant legs and tries to stear me to where he wants to go. Usually it is to the kitchen where he wants something to eat. He also learned how to drink out of a sippy cup!!!!!! I am so excited!!!

Chris is running, working, running, playing with the kids, and running some more. He has found a love for running. I wish I could somehow find some of that same love.

Our trip

OK here is a recap of our trip. Sunday July 12th we left Vegas at about 12:30 am. Drove to my parents . stayed there until Thursday morning. Flew to Rochester, NY. went to Brian and Beth Aparo's house that night, did Pageant the next night, Robin's wedding was on sat. Sunday was Church and Church sites, Monday we flew back to CO. Tues we went and say my grandparents. Michelle came and played with us. We also saw Becca and her kids (and Sarah). then on Wed we drove home. It was nice to be home but we were not so happy with the heat!!!
This was the first photo of the trip. Way too cute and this is the reason why we choose to drive at night. It makes the trip so much easier.
While at my parents we went to the "north Pole" Perfect park for my kids. They loved it and I even got a little queasy on a ride.

I think Jed likes it what do you think?

They picked me so flowers

At the Hill Cumorah trying to pass the time until it started. they were in Heaven. Running around and around and around.

On the way home. Will was the only one who stayed up for the whole performance.

My kids did not want to leave Sis Clark's house. they loved riding the bikes outside. Oh to be able to do this during the summer.

Will wanted Chris to ride too. Here he is showing off his manly bike.

Getting ready for the wedding. The kids did great. They looked awesome, I am not biased.

This was the best family photo we got. Too bad because the kids looked soooo good.

At the reception

Me and Annmarie . . . yes siblings start singing the song.

A few years ago, 4 to be exact we took a photo of Will climbing up "the hill" we got one of each one doing it again.

A nice man at the top took a photo for us.

Will after eating "a small" ice cream cone. All of you who know the size of the small will know what I'm talking about. it is about 8 inches off the cone.

The old house. Still looks the same, with a lot more tree growth.

Our Anniversary!!!

Tomorrow (7th) is our 8th Anniversary!!! I cannot believe it has been 8 years!!!! Wow. What an amazing time it has been. Here are 8 of my favorite things about the last 8 years
1. Spending time with Chris. That is why we got married because we love to be together. I love to be with him more today than I did then.
2. Our great family!!! I love our kids and our family. I am so glad that I got/will continue to raise our family together.
3. Chris surprising me with a sewing machine for Christmas.
4. The day he got a "gun shot wound to the head" We found out we were pregnant with Will.
5. Each an every time we had a kid. It is amazing the amount of love he has for each of these kids the instant he see's them.
6. Watching him play with the kids. From the beginning we have had wrestling, dodge ball, tossing in the air, pillow fighting and having a great time
7. Walking around the track at the gym. For the last 2 years we end our workout by walking around the track talking, spending time together without kids. This is the best part of my workout.
8. Waking up every morning next to Chris. I love you more and more each day.
hopefully I can figure out our scanner so I can post so photos of this great day!!! 7/7/01
tomorrow night we are going to see Phantom of the Opera. I am so excited. Chris not so much but, this is how I know he loves me.
