So today Will and Annmarie went and got Swine flu vaccines, (they are in a study to see what is the right dosage for kids). While there they did awesome. But the nurse was looking at Will and goes he looks just like . . . Tom Brady. 3 other ladies agreed with him so it must be true right? Hey you be the judge.

great kids and where did I put the camera
You know when you put something, say a camera, in a place so the kids don't get it. Yes I did this and guess what? I cannot remember where that special place is. Any thoughts? So there will be no photos sorry :(
Will - he loves loves loves Kindergarden. Wishes every day were school. He tells me next year he wants to be in Mrs. Parkson's class. I think this is because Bella is in that class. No offense Angie but I think it is a good thing they are in different classes. I think it would be a bad combination. I asked his teacher today how he was doing (WARRING I MIGHT BRAG A LITTLE HERE) she said oh he is great I wish all the kids were like him. He is so mature for a 5 year old. He's still 4!!!!. ok I'm sure she was being extra nice but this means Will is being so good in class. He kept telling me he got a jam in class. I could not figure this out until I realized he ment Gems. they get those for being good!!! Hopefully this good student stuff continues. I'm keeping everything crossed.
Durring dinner today I asked what he liked best about dinner. He gave me a hug and said you mom. I love that, and I totally needed that today> then as he was cleaning up he kept giving me hugs and telling me I love you.
Annmarie - Started dance classes last Friday. She loves them. She has a great teacher (Lori Day) The first day I was sure she got all my dancing ability (Nada) but today she was doing much better!!!! So there might be hope. She still cries about 90% of the time we drop off Will. Last year she never cried when we dropped him off for Pre-school, what is different now?
Jeffrey - Last night one of the 20 times I was putting him to bed I went and Kissed him then hugged him. He grabbed me around my neck and pulled him right to him and didn't want me to go. It was so nice to know that even though we struggle he still wants me around and wants me close.
Jed - Is getting to the standing position with no assistance now. He is walking all around like a crazy person. He even takes is bottle and holds onto it with him mouth then walks around. Sometimes he crawls around and looks like a little puppy. So so cute. Today as I was in the kitchen He decided he needed a diaper change. He brought me a diaper. It was funny because his diaper was almost to the point of holding nothing else.
Tuesday Chris and I got to go to the temple and see our friends Jon and Karme-n Guss be sealed for time and all eternity. it was awesome and brought back memories of our sealing. So glad that I get to spend the rest of this life and the next with the one I love. Thanks for 8 plus years Chris I love you.

Will's First Day of School
Will started Kindergarten today. He was so excited, he has been asking about it for months now. Meet the teacher was Thursday night and he did not want to leave. This morning he was up at about 5:30 and ready to go at about 7. This would have been great except drop off does not happen until 8:40. When we went to school Will and I got dropped off Chris and the others went to the gym. The place was way crazy! So many parents and students and cars. Hopefully in a little while there will not be so much craziness.
Here he is waiting for the bus. . . no not really we were about to go get in the car.
Here he is with his Teacher Ms Hundley. (makes me think of Curious George every time.)
He just wanted to go to school and have me leave.
Here he is with Bella. She is from Church and in the other class. They wanted to pose for a photo really badly.
Maya and Will also in different classes.
Not sure what he did today. he was not very talkative. His biggest concern was that he would be sooo hungry. What was the first thing he said to me after school? Can I have a Peanut butter sandwich now please! He is totally my kid.
The sandbagger
OK so we were totally fine with Jed not walking. Well it seems he was walking but not around us. About a week ago he took his first steps alone. It was like 2 but hey they were alone. A week later he is walking across the front room, walking through the hall looking for people. Walking from the couch to the computer. All unassisted. So his father has lovingly started calling him the sandbagger. Once again life is over as we know it.

photos of our latest adventures
Here are photos of the kids at their favorite park "the airplane water park"
The last time we were at this park Jed climbed up this! He needs to stop growing up.
I wish I would have gotten a after photo of him stumbling around. It was so funny and so sad at the same time.
Here she is attempting the monkey bars.
This is what happens when your kids are smart enough to move a chair over to the freezer and get out what they really want.
July 24th parade.
Jed and his favorite person Ulu
Our newest endevor
So yesterday the Will and Annmarie helped me hand grind 7 cups of wheat into flour. It only took 70 min. They kids loved it and were so helpful. We then made some wheat bread. Which tasted alright, not as bad as I initially thought for my first attempt.
Why did we grind wheat and start to make bread you may ask? here is your answer
this goes 2 deep
this goes 2 deep
now where will put guests when we have them over to eat?
not all is wheat but most is.
Here is the finished product. Well half a loaf of 2. Being the genius that I am I forgot that I might need bread sacks, good thing we had big enough containers.

Happy Birthday Chris! and other randomness
Today is Chris's birthday. Most I hope for his birthday that he will get more sleep than he did yesterday. he got to bed at 2:30 then got a call from work at 6:30 asking him to work the day shift. Which he did, this was his first overtime opportunity in months!!! The minor problem was that he got to work his regular shift as well. So it meant he was gone until . . . I think he got home at 2am.
My grandparents come today. Hopefully it will all go well.
The last little while we have been staying close to home here. A few weeks ago we got a years pass to the Children's museum here in town. Nothing close to the wonderful Seattle one, but the kids love it anyway.
This is the hurricane tube. They say the wind gets up to like 80 mph. My kids loved it, Jana's not so much

Yes those are big smiles!!!

We have been back to the "airplane" water park a few times. been to the gym. But for the most part life is somewhat back to normal. Until Will starts school on the 24th!!! I cannot believe that I one of my kids is old enough to start school!!
For YW last week we went out to cheesecake Factory and saw Harry Potter. It was great, Loved the movie. I came home and reread the book. I was glad I read it after and not before.
Will has had some way cute moments. We were driving in the car and Jed was having a rough time and Will started to sing child of God to him. it was sooo cute!!! Jed instantly become happy.
Annmarie is so excited for preschool. I finally understand what people mean when they say their child is 3 going on 30. She is that way. She wants to do everything I do and is always great if I need someone to cuddle with.
Jeffrey he is 2. He started taking off his diapers after he went to the bathroom in them so we began the potty training process. I am the worlds laziest trainer. This has been a bad little while. I wish I had a magic want that would make him instantly trained! but now that we are only buying 1 size diapers, which is sooo nice, I don't want to digress. Arghh!!! I will deal with the accidents because I am so cheap.
Jed is walking while holding on to everything. He will grab onto a chair and then push that around to get where he wants. He holds onto walls and walks and my favorite is when he grabs my pant legs and tries to stear me to where he wants to go. Usually it is to the kitchen where he wants something to eat. He also learned how to drink out of a sippy cup!!!!!! I am so excited!!!
Chris is running, working, running, playing with the kids, and running some more. He has found a love for running. I wish I could somehow find some of that same love.
